UPDATE: Blood Tribe Police locate 63-year-old woman previously reported missing

STANDOFF, AB – The Blood Tribe Police Service has confirmed that 63-year-old Donna Gail Plume has been located safe. Police thank the public for their assistance.

STANDOFF, AB – The Blood Tribe Police Service (BTPS) is asking for help to locate a missing person.

Police stated that on February 28, 2023, 63-year-old Donna Gail Plume was reported missing by her family. Official said the last time she was in contact with her family was February 27, 2023 at around 4 p.m., when she left her residence on foot from Standoff, Alberta.

She has not been home since and the BTPS said Plume does not have her phone with her, and is being treated for a mental illness.

Plume is described as 5’2” with “very short brown hair and eyes”. She was last seen wearing a light jacket, a red long-sleeved shirt, and light-coloured ripped jeans.

Police note that at this time, foul play is not suspected and believe Plume may be on the Blood Tribe, or in the Lethbridge or Fort Macleod areas.
