Lethbridge residents to receive green bins in April
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is making final preparations for a city-wide rollout of its curbside organics collection program.
The city says in a news release that “green bins” will be distributed to homes across the city that already have curbside garbage and recycling pickup sometime in April 2023.
By mid-April to early May, the municipality says approximately 32,000 households will have received their new waste bins.
The first date for organics collection is set for sometime in mid-May. Residents will be charged $5 for the program for the first time on their May 2023 utility bill.
