Police charge man following search at north Lethbridge home

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A Lethbridge man faces charges following a search at a northside home.

On Tuesday, March 14, 2023, members of the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) and RCMP Crime Reduction Unit executed what police referred to as a “high-risk search warrant” at a home along the 2100 block of 5 Avenue North. The LPS noted that no one was home at the time, and officers located allegedly stolen property. A male suspect later turned himself into the LPS.

Lethbridge Police have charged 50-year-old David Scott Walker with one count of possession of stolen property under $5,000. Walker is also facing additional counts of possession of stolen property and other charges stemming from RCMP investigations outside of the city.

Walker has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on April 25, 2023.
