LETHBRIDGE, AB – It’s set to be another busy week in Lethbridge full of events.

Lethbridge Hurricanes at the ENMAX Centre – March 22 and 24, 2023

The Lethbridge Hurricanes play on home ice for two nights this week. On Wednesday, March 22 at 7:00 p.m., the Hurricanes will face off against the Calgary Hitmen at the ENMAX Centre. On Friday, March 24, the Lethbridge Hurricanes will play their final regular season game at the ENMAX against the Red Deer Rebels. Tickets are available at the ENMAX Centre website.

Owl Poetry at the Owl Acoustic Lounge – March 22

On Wednesday, March 22, the public can drop in at the Owl Acoustic Lounge from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for an open mic poetry reading. This event helps to showcase local talents and is hosted by Teri Petz. Admission to Owl Poetry is free and open to all ages.

Comedy Hypnotist at Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club – March 23

Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club is set to host Clint Worke, the comedy hypnotist on Thursday, March 23. Starting at 7:00 p.m., audience members can laugh along as Worke attempts to hypnotise volunteers to participate in a variety of skits. Tickets for this event can be found at the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club website.

Madchild at The Place Arcade and Bar – March 23

Canadian rapper, Madchild, will play at The Place Arcade and Bar this Thursday, March 23. The show kicks off at 8:00 p.m. and has opening performances from AyPayne, BUNZ, RG, Alchemy the Linguist and Donny Sage, DJ Roach and Indian Jesus, Atomic Lane, TDuggie and JWISE. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

Park Jam at Pass Powderkeg Ski Area – March 24

With spring around the corner, it means the return of the annual Park Jam at Pass Powderkeg (PPK) Ski Area in Blairmore on March 24. The PPK Park Jam welcomes snowboarders and skiers alike to participate in a jam session from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Flats Terrain Park. Each session has three categories including U13, Ages 14-17 and 18+, with individual prizes available in each category. Fawns, GreenWing and Alec Arms playing at the Owl Acoustic Lounge – March 24

Jam along to a night of live music on Friday night at the Owl Acoustic Lounge. Lethbridge’s Fawns Music is set to headline on March 24, along with Saskatoon heavy indie band, Green Wing and Lethbridge’s own Alec Arms. The 18+ show kicks off at 8:00 p.m. and admission is pay what you can.

Alberta Genealogical Society – Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

The Lethbridge branch of the Alberta Genealogical Society opens its resource centre to the public from 1:30 – 4:30 p.m. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. Community members are encouraged to come out and learn more about their history and try to trace their family trees.
