WILLOW CREEK, AB – The Alberta RCMP is investigating a death in southern Alberta.
Police said that on March 25, 2023, at around 10:19 a.m., members of the Fort Macleod RCMP and Blood Tribe Police Service were dispatched to a report of blood on the Healy Bridge. The bridge is located on Highway 511 near Willow Creek.
Police have confirmed that a deceased male was located below the bridge on the river. An autopsy is scheduled for March 28 at the Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.
Alberta RCMP Major Crimes has taken over the investigation and police noted that an update will be provided once available.
