Lethbridge Hurricanes goalie named to WHL Second All-Star Team

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Western Hockey League (WHL) has announced the members of its 2022-23 Second All-Star Teams.

One of the six players on the Central Division Second All-Star Team is Lethbridge Hurricanes goaltender Harrison Meneghin.

The rookie goalie finished third in victories among Central Division netminders in the 2022-23 WHL regular season.

The 18-year-old from Surrey, B.C., appeared in 36 games with the Hurricanes and posted a 19-12-2-2 record with a 2.83 goals against average and a .908 save percentage with one shutout.

Meneghin was named the WHL Goaltender of the Week in November 2022 and was the Hurricanes recipient of the Carl Trentini Memorial Award for Rookie of the Year.

He is also one of nine WHL goaltenders named on NHL Central Scouting’s Mid-Term Rankings ahead of the 2023 NDL Draft. He is ranked #27 among North American goaltenders.
