Trans Day of Visibility at the Galt Museum & Archives – March 31, 2023

The International Trans Day of Visibility is recognized every year on March 31 to recognize the resilience and accomplishments of the transgender community. Hosted in partnership with Pride Lethbridge, the Galt Museum & Archives will put on Ari Agha’s short film, The Key of T, and host them afterward for a Q & A. The free event will take place from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday. More information can be found on the Galt Museum & Archives website.

Polynesian Party at the Multicultural Centre – March 31

The Southern Alberta Ethnic Association will host a family-friendly Polynesian party on Friday, March 31 that includes a Kahlua pulled pork dinner, Polynesian dance demonstrations, and activities for the whole family. The themed event includes games like a lei toss, pass the coconut, hula hooping, a limbo contest, and Island Bingo. High School Musical on Stage at St. Francis Junior High School– March 31 – April 5

St. Francis Junior High School is set to bring High School Musical to life through on-stage performances with two casts. The show runs from March 30 to April 5, alternating between both matinee and evening shows. Tickets can be purchased in advance online at the St. Francis Junior High School website.

Faris Hytiaa at Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club – March 31 and April 1

The Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club will present Faris Hytiaa for two nights this week. This Lethbridge local got his start at Good Times and has gone on to tour all over Western Canada, opening for some of the country’s best comedians. Hytiaa recently signed an agreement with Telus STORYHIVE to debut his first comedy special, which was filmed in Lethbridge, and aired on February 1, 2023. Drunk Improv: Fool’s Gold Edition – April 1

Cast members from ImpromptOu are set to put on several sketches reminiscent of the popular television series, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?”. On April Fool’s Day, April 1, the audience will be able to share their suggestions for scenarios to help keep the jokes rolling at Drunk Improv. Tickets can be purchased online at the Theatre Outré website.

Lethbridge College’s Student Research Symposiums: Environmental Science – April 1

Students in the Environmental Science program at Lethbridge College will present their capstone projects on Saturday, April 1. Students will share information about their capstone projects, a multifaced final project encompassing what they’ve learned in the program – through formal oral presentations, or poster presentations and one-on-one discussions. The public is invited to participate from 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Instructional Building.

Spring Flings and Easter Things Market and Fundraiser – April 1

A spring-themed market will be popping up at the Sandman Hotel in Lethbridge on Saturday, April 1. From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., attendees can shop local vendors, win door prizes, participate in a scavenger hunt, and engage in an auction that supports Rise Above Mental Health and Community Supports Lethbridge.

Lammonaland Children’s Play & Market at the Multicultural Centre – April 1

Domesticated Divas is hosting its first annual child play and market on April 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Multicultural Centre. This circus-themed market includes an interactive children’s musical puppet show that will be performed four times during the afternoon. Attendees can support local businesses and shop for their littles with vendors selling items like clothing, sparkle tattoos, nail art, bath bombs and more. Seedy Sunday at CASA – April 2
