LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was recently found deceased.

On March 31, 2023, LPS said his body was located in a pond in the Henderson Lake Golf Course.

An autopsy was completed at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary. The report concluded that the man’s death was non-criminal in nature.

Police say all traditional methods of identifying deceased individuals have been unsuccessful and they are hoping that a member of the public can help to identify the man so his next of kin can be contacted.

LPS has released a composite sketch of the man as well as an artist’s rendering of a distinctive tattoo.

The man is believed to be between 20-30 years old and had short, dark hair and brown eyes.

At the time that he was located, police say he was wearing a black jacket, black hoodie, black shirt, black sweatpants, and white Nike Air Force shoes.

The tattoo on his right calf depicts Mickey Mouse hands forming the letters, “LA.”

Anyone with information about the man’s identity is asked to call LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 23006937.
