Métis and Music at the Galt Museum & Archives – April 12, 2023

Hosted in partnership with the Lethbridge Métis Local, the Galt Museum & Archives will present a night of Métis celebrations on Wednesday, April 12. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., guests can gather Métis information, participate in community-building activities and listen to live music. Registration is required to attend and can be done on the Galt Museum & Archives website.

Pro-Amateur Night (Open Mic Comedy) at Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club – April 12

On Wednesday, April 12, the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club will be hosting its Pro-Amateur Night. Professional comics will test out new material and newer performers can try their hand at stand-up comedy. Those looking to sign up for a guest spot, or grab tickets to the show, can do so online at the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club website

Tabletop Night at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden – April 13

On Thursday, April 13, Dungeon & Dragons fans can head to the Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden for a special Japanese-inspired D&D campaign. The themed game will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $12 per session and includes a hot beverage and cookie. Those interested are asked to email info@nikkayuko.com for a maximum of 12 people per session for six sessions.

Jurassic Quest at Exhibition Park – April 14 to 16

What is described by organizers as the largest and most realistic traveling dinosaur experience will roll into Lethbridge this weekend. The family-friendly exhibit will feature life-size sky-scraping dinosaurs, dino rides, an interactive raptor training experience, and real fossils including T-Rex teeth, dinosaur skulls and a triceratops horn. Those interested in attending from April 14 to 16 can purchase tickets online at the Jurassic Quest website.

Lee Brice: Beer Drinking Opportunity Tour April 15

Country music star Lee Brice will bring his Beer Drinking Opportunity Tour to the ENMAX Centre on Saturday, April 15. Dance along to hits like, “Memory I Don’t Mess With”, “One of Them Girls”, “I Hope You’re Happy Now” and “Rumor”. Brice will also bring along special guests such as Tenille Arts and Josh Ross to join him on stage. Tickets for the event can be found on the ENMAX Centre website.

Quaint, Quirky & Queer Cabaret – April 15

Theatre Outré will host its flagship event, the 10-year Quaint, Quirky & Queer Cabaret at the Owl Acoustic Lounge on Saturday, April 15. The event features a variety of acts from local performances including theatre, music, dance and poetry. Tickets are available online at the Theatre Outré website.

Ukrainian Easter Bread Making Workshop – April 15

On Saturday, April 15, Ukrainian newcomer, Alla Panchenko welcomes the community to learn how to prepare Easter bread or paska ahead of Orthodox or Ukrainian Easter on April 16. The workshop will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association Ballroom and includes all ingredients. Tickets for this workshop can be found online at Eventbrite.
