Two Hurricanes listed in NHL Central Scouting rankings
LETHBRIDGE, AB – NHL Central Scouting has released the final rankings ahead of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft, and two Lethbridge Hurricanes have made the list.
Noah Chadwick ranks as the #154 North American skater. The 6’4 defenseman enters the rankings after a season which saw him put up five goals and 15 assists in 67 games, with a plus minus of plus-9. The 17-year-old also chipped in one point in the Hurricanes’ four game defeat to the Moose Jaw Warriors in the first round of the 2023 WHL Playoffs.
Two slots later at #156 is forward Logan Wormald. The Saskatoon native had a productive season for the Hurricanes, putting up 22 goals along with 22 assists for 44 points in 66 games. Wormald finished his two-year Hurricanes career with 82 points in 111 games.
Of the top 28 North American skaters, 12 played in the WHL. The 2023 draft takes place from Wednesday, June 28 until Thursday, June 29, 2023.
