Candidates forums set for two Lethbridge provincial ridings

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Residents of Lethbridge will have the opportunity to hear directly from their candidates in the upcoming provincial election.

An all-candidates forum for the Lethbridge-East riding is being hosted by the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre at 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023. The address for the senior centre is 1904 13 Avenue North.

The list of confirmed candidates in Lethbridge-East are as follows:

• Nathan Neudorf – UCP (incumbent)
• Rob Miyashiro – NDP

A forum for candidates running in Lethbridge-West will be held at the Lethbridge Senior Citizens Organization at 500 11 Street South, taking place on Friday, May 5, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The list of confirmed candidates in Lethbridge-West are as follows:

• Shannon Phillips – NDP (incumbent)
• Cheryl Seaborn – UCP
• Patricia Chizek – Liberal

Both forums are set to focus primarily on seniors’ issues.

The provincial election is scheduled to be held on May 29, 2023.
