No injuries reported in west Lethbridge house fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Firefighters in Lethbridge responded to a blaze on the west side of the city Wednesday evening.
At around 5:40 p.m. on April 26, 2023, crews from four stations tended to a residential fire at a home along the 200 block of Heritage Boulevard West. Officials noted that the fire was burning through the kitchen window and responders were able to quickly extinguish the flames.
The City of Lethbridge said there is extensive fire damage to the main floor kitchen and significant smoke damage throughout the home.
Officials stated that no one was home at the time of the incident and no injuries to fire crews were reported. Damage to the home is estimated at $350,000.
