Lethbridge high school football player named to Senior Bowl South team

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A local high school football player has been selected to take part in a provincial All-Star game.

The annual Senior Bowl High School All-Star Game kicked off its activities on the weekend of April 22-23, 2023 in Calgary with the “South” Selection Camp for players south of Red Deer.

Greyson Reider, an offensive lineman for the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute Rams football team, was the lone Lethbridge representative on the 40-person squad.

The South and North teams will head to the Senior Bowl Main Camp and All-Star Game on the weekend of May 18-22, which will finish on the 22nd with a game between the two teams at MEGlobal Athletic Park in Lacombe.

Reider has committed to play for the University of Calgary Dinos in the upcoming season.

Two Medicine Hat players have also made the roster. Defensive lineman Zachary Angstadt and defensive back Cole Ricken will join Reider on the South team.
