Park ‘n’ Bark off-leash dog park to be closed on Friday, May 12 for maintenance

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Dog owners in Lethbridge are being advised of a temporary closure of a local park.

On Friday, May 12, 2023, the Park ‘n’ Bark off-leash dog park, located at the corner of Scenic Drive North and Stafford Drive North, will be closed for turf maintenance.

Parks and Cemeteries staff will be applying an organic treatment to improve the health of the soil, in effort to produce stronger, more vibrant grass.

Officials note the product being used is a “completely natural and chemical-free formula.” It is eco-friendly and safe for people, pets, and wildlife, according to the City of Lethbridge.

The dog park will reopen on Saturday, May 13.
