LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is providing some relief from the heat for residents this week.

Starting Friday, May 19, 2023 at 10 a.m., the three spray parks in Lethbridge will be opened.

The Legacy spray park is located at the north end of Legacy Park and is the largest in the city. It features three circular splash zones divided into a tot area, a family area, and five to 12 years of age area.

The Rotary Centennial Fountain is in the southeast corner of Galt Gardens. It includes 97 jets which move to lights and music. The City of Lethbridge noted that on calmer days, the fountain can reach heights of 15 feet.

The Gyro spray park is behind Nicholas Sheran Arena.

All of the spray parks are free to visit. The parks will remain open until the Labour Day long weekend in September, or as the summer weather permits.

Hours of operation for the three parks are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day.
