Lethbridge police investigating aggravated assault

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service is investigating an assault in north Lethbridge early morning on Friday, June 2, 2023.

At approximately 12:22 a.m., police responded to a report of an assault after an injured man arrived at a business along the 200 block of 13 Street North, looking for help.

When police arrived and it was determined that the 21 year old man had been stabbed, he was taken by EMS to Chinook Regional Hospital and was later airlifted to Calgary.

He remains in the hospital.
