LETHBRIDGE, AB – It’s set to be another busy week in Lethbridge, and there’s a ton of events to keep you busy over the next few days.

National Indigenous Peoples Day – June 21

National Aboriginal Day, now National Indigenous Peoples Day, was announced in 1996 by then-Governor General of Canada, Roméo LeBlanc, through a proclamation, declaring June 21 of each year as National Aboriginal Day. As a way to remember and honour those who have come before, Fort Whoop-Up will be hosting a variety of activities from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. to check out a brand-new Blackfoot Gallery along with other Indigenous crafts, vendors and food trucks.

Pro-Amateur Comedy Night (Open Mic Comedy) at Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club – June 21

On Wednesday, June 21, the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club will host its Pro-Amateur Night. Professional comics will test out new material and newer performers can try their hand at stand-up comedy. Those looking to sign up for a guest spot, or grab tickets to the show, can do so online at the Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club website.

Lethbridge Bulls vs Regina Red Sox – June 22-23

The Lethbridge Bulls will welcome the Regina Red Sox this weekend for a two-game match up at Spitz Stadium. On Thursday, the hometown boys will play at 7:05 p.m.. June 23 marks the Gas King Family Friday, which provides families of four with an extra deal that includes a basket of fries and a $10 Gas King gift card. Yoga and Tai Chi at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden – Every Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday

The Canadian Yoga Institue began its Tai Chi and Yoga classes at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden this month. Flow Yoga will take place every Wednesday starting at 6:00 p.m., while Yoga for Wellness will start at 5:30 p.m. every Thursday. Beginning at 9:00 a.m. every Saturday, people can take part in short-form Yang Style Tai Chi. Drop-in passes can be purchased on the day of the event, or you can register through the Canadian Yoga Institue. More information can be found online.

ATB Financial Lethbridge Rotary Dragon Boat Festival – June 23-25

The 2023 Lethbridge Dragon Boat Festival is at Henderson Lake this weekend. Dragon boaters from across Western Canada will be in Lethbridge for three days of fun competition on the water, along with entertainment and food. This year, over 1,200 people will be participating, with the help of over 200 volunteers. Organizers said more volunteers are needed. Pride Parade and 15th Annual Pride in The Park – June 24

The Lethbridge Pride Fest will celebrate its 15th anniversary this weekend in Galt Gardens. Kicking things off on Saturday is the Pride Parade. It will start behind the Civic Ice Centre at 11:00 a.m. as spectators march down Stafford Drive before arriving in Downtown Lethbridge. After the parade, people can join Pride in the Park from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., which will feature food vendors, a marketplace, activities for all ages and a beer garden. Wing Ding 2023 by Streets Alive Mission – June 24

From noon until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 24, Streets Alive Mission will be offering residents a free festival of family fun at Nicholas Sheran Park. Activities include throwing a pie in someone’s face, making cotton candy, and taking part in the Wing Ding Wing Challenge that has participants try their hand at the wing eating trophy challenge. Coalhurst First Responders Society 3rd Annual Golf Tournament – June 24

The Coalhurst First Responders Society (CFRS) holds its 3rd Annual Golf Tournament at the Land-O-Lakes Golf Course in Coaldale on Saturday, June 24, 2023. All proceeds from the event are used to support the residents of Coalhurst and the surrounding area. In the past year, they were able to donate several Christmas food hampers to families in need, as well as host an open house visit with Santa. Green n Yellow Group: Polar Plunge – June 24

The Green n Yellow Group is back with another fundraiser helping to support Can Praxis, the leading Equine-Assisted Therapy provider for veteran and First Responder communities. The dip takes place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Food will be supplied to those who take the plunge on Saturday, June 24 at 852 Heritage BLV West. Lethbridge Farmers’ Market at Lethbridge & District Exhibition – Every Saturday

Head on over to Lethbridge & District Exhibition this weekend to check out the region’s best produce, baked goods, homemade crafts and more. The Lethbridge Farmers Market is free to attend and runs every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. from June 10 to October 14, 2023. Last year, it’s estimated that nearly 57,000 people attended the market on the exhibition grounds.
