LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is reminding property owners that their 2023 property taxes are due next week.

Taxes are due by June 30, 2023, and a 7 per cent penalty will be applied to all unpaid tax balances as of July 1.

Payments can be made in-person at City Hall, directly at your bank, online or over the phone, or by dropping a cheque or money order off at City Hall.

Property owners also have the option of using the monthly Tax Instalment Prepayment Plan (TIPP), which provides an annual discount credit of 2 per cent. Individuals can sign up for TIPP for the 2024 tax season by July 20, 2023 as long as their property taxes for 2023 have been paid in full.

Parking in front of City Hall will be free from June 26 to 30 to accomodate those looking to pay their property taxes in-person. More information on property taxes and payments are at the City of Lethbridge website.
