Dan Duvall at Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club – June 29 + 30

The Good Times Lethbridge Comedy Club presents Dan Duvall on Friday. The B.C.-based comedian has been performing across Canada and the United States and is set to bring his show to Lethbridge on June 30. Duvall’s work as a professional comedic writer has also appeared on Cartoon Network Canada and Adult Swim. Tickets for his show are on sale now at the Good Time Comedy Club website.

121st Raymond Stampede – June 30 to July 1

Entering its 121st anniversary, the historic Raymond Stampede will be returning to the long-standing grandstand one last final time before it moves to its new location in 2024. The Raymond Stampede was the first pro-rodeo in Canada back in 1977, and the traditional events will continue for another three nights in its original location. Summer Sunset at CASA – June 30

CASA will play host to an +18 plus Canada Day kickoff event on Friday night. Summer Sunset will feature live house and techno DJs from Calgary and Lethbridge, with food and drink available on-site. The EDM show will start at 6:00 p.m. and run until late, with an after-party scheduled at Hudsons Canada’s Pub. Queer Variety Night at The Slice Bar and Grill – June 30

The Lethbridge Pride Fest will put on a Queer Variety Night on Friday at The Slice Bar and Grill. The adults-only event will welcome artists like Dana Demento, Dick Goblin, Sophie Wright, Poppy, and David They to the stage for one night only. Pride Fest indicates that Queer Variety Night is more than an entertaining event but is a significant way to bring the community together to celebrate diversity, acceptance, and love. Tickets for the show can be purchased at the door or online at Eventbrite.

Tina: Simply The Best – June 30

A spectacular tribute to Tina Turner will hit the stage at the Yates Memorial Theatre on Friday. The full-stage production is packed with her hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. The powerful vocals of Caroline Borole will rock the stage in Lethbridge for one night only. Tickets for the concert can be purchased on the ENMAX Centre website.

Canada Day at Galt Gardens and Henderson Lake– July 1

July 1, 2023, marks the 156th National Day of Canada, better known as Canada Day. The day is to recognize and celebrate the anniversary of the Canadian Confederation which occurred on July 1, 1987. In Lethbridge, there are a ton of events planned including a charity breakfast at Galt Gardens from 9:00 a.m. to noon and a community stage with several local artists from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Henderson Lake will be just as busy with a full run of live performances taking place on the mainstage from 11:00 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., paired with food trucks, kids’ activities and a fireworks display kicking off at 11:00 p.m.

Unified Vibe Patio Party at The Onion Bar & Grill – July 1

The Onion Bar & Grill will play host to Unified Vibe Productions Patio Party on Canada Day. From 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. a variety of DJs will be playing on the extended patio for an afternoon of fun in the sun. This all-ages, family friendly event also features an all-day BBQ with burgers and a beverage included in the $20 cover charge.

Peaceful March with Sage Clan Lethbridge – July 1

The Sage Clan will be hosting a peaceful march on July 1 to raise awareness for Indigenous issues, such as Every Child Matters, Overdose Awareness, and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW). People are encouraged to make signs and bring water and sun protection on the walk. The march will start at 11:00 a.m. on the corner of Mayor Magrath Drive and 3rd Ave South and makes its way down to City Hall. More information can be found on the Sage Clan Facebook page.

Lethbridge Bulls Double-Header Game – July 1

On the diamond, the Lethbridge Bulls will play a doubleheader on July 1 against the Swift Currents 57s. The first game will kick off at 2:05 p.m. at Spitz Stadium with the second taking place at 7:35 p.m. on July 1. Tickets for the games can be purchased on the Lethbridge Bulls website.

Canada Day 3 Band Bash at The Slice Bar & Grill – July 1

Celebrate Canada Day at The Slice Bar & Grill on Saturday with a lineup of live music from three bands. On July 1, starting at 8:00 p.m. the Howells, Goodlove and Hungry Hollow will take the stage for a night of alt-rock and groovy vibes. Tickets can be purchased in advance on Eventbrite.

Lethbridge Farmers’ Market at Lethbridge & District Exhibition – Every Saturday

Head on over to Lethbridge & District Exhibition this weekend to check out the region’s best produce, baked goods, homemade crafts and more. The Lethbridge Farmers’ Market is free to attend and runs every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. until October 14, 2023. Last year, it’s estimated that nearly 57,000 people attended the market on the exhibition grounds.
