Additional closures avoided at Milk River Health Centre Emergency Department

MILK RIVER, AB – Additional closures have been avoided at the Milk River Health Centre Emergency Department. Alberta Health Services (AHS) said the department closed on Sunday morning, July 9, 2023.
Initially, the closure had been anticipated to last until Thursday, July 13.
However, AHS noted on Monday, July 10, that the department will reopen for 24-hour service on Tuesday, July 11 at 10 a.m., as physician coverage has been secured.
