LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks have added a local player to their women’s volleyball squad.

Hadlee Fleischhauer joins the Kodiaks after graduating from Lethbridge’s Catholic Central High School. The outside hitter recently played for the Panthers Volleyball Club near Coaldale.

Kodiaks head coach Anna Schwark said of Fleischhauer, “Hadlee is a gamer and a leader on the court, and she battles and works hard. She’s always vocal on the floor, and that’s the type of athletes we want and need to get the job done.”

Fleischhauer said she is looking forward to joining the Kodiaks, and added that being a local added to the feeling of comfort. She said, “I love the atmosphere, and I’m a very big homebody, so I feel like it suits me very well.”

Fleischhauer will be taking nursing electives in Open Studies and plans to work toward a Bachelor of Nursing degree.

The Kodiaks are looking to capitalize and build on last season, which saw them finish fourth-place in the league. Lethbridge College will play host to the ACAC Championships for the 2023-24 season.
