Temporary road closure announced for airshow in Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – The Lethbridge International Airshow is set to fly July 29 to 30, 2023. Lethbridge County is advising residents of a road closure in effect during the event at the airport.

Township Road 8-2 will be temporarily closed between Range Roads 21-4 and 21-5 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30. People who live on Range Road 21-5 are asked to travel south to Township Road 8-0 during the temporary closure.

Lethbridge County officials stated that Highway 5 is anticipated to see increased traffic over the course of the weekend event. With that, motorists are reminded to drive with care and expect delays.

Parking will be allowed in designated areas only and prohibited on County roads or in ditches.
