Blood Tribe Police seeking public’s help finding missing man

STANDOFF, AB – The Blood Tribe Police Service is asking for the public’s help to find a missing man.

Police reported that Jim Shot Both Sides, 78, was last seen by family members in the Levern community in the early hours on August 2, 2023. Officials note that an investigation revealed he may still be in the Blood Tribe area.

Shot Both Sides is described as 5’5, with a thin build, brown eyes and curly gray hair. He was last seen wearing dark jeans, cowboy boots, and a burgundy and white flannel. Police noted that Jim has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.

Police do not suspect foul play. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Blood Tribe Police Service at 403-737-3800.
