Coaldale-Lethbridge Foodgrains Harvest & Barbecue – August 15, 2023

The Coaldale-Lethbridge Foodgrains Harvest & Barbecue is being held near the RCMP buildings on 8 Street in Coaldale. New this year is the Farm Equipment Petting Zoo, which will be running from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m at the Alberta Ag Centre. Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chair.

Lethbridge Farmers’ Market at Festival Square – Every Wednesday

The Wednesday Downtown Farmers’ Market, put on by the Lethbridge & District Exhibition and Downtown Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ), is running every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. until September 6, 2023. Admission is free, but parking rates may apply.

Yoga in the Park – Every Wednesday

The Family Ties Association is offering an ongoing event called Downtown Yoga every Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Galt Gardens. The classes run until September 27 and participation in the event is free. Information can be found here.

Wonderstruck – August 9 to 26, 2023

New West Theatre kicked off its 2023-24 season on August 9, 2023, with the musical comedy ‘Wonderstruck’ at the Yates Memorial Theatre. The theatre company describes the show as having a mix of classic and contemporary rock ‘n’ roll hits to go along with sketch comedy. Tickets can be purchased here.

Food Truck Fridays – August 18, 2023

Those looking to check out some different food trucks can head over to the parking lot area at Nikka Yuko Japanese Garden for Food Truck Fridays on August 18. On Fridays until September 29, various food trucks will be set up from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m., including Santeria Taco Truck, Vesano Pizza, Piggyback Poutinerie, Macs & Custard, and many others.
