City of Lethbridge continuing road work on 5 Avenue bridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The City of Lethbridge is continuing bridge maintenance work.
Starting on Friday, August 18, 2023, crews will begin work on Scenic Drive over the 5 Avenue North bridge. The maintenance is expected to be completed by October 3, weather permitting.
In addition, paving will take place on Saturday, August 18 on 5 Avenue North from 36 to 33 Street in the westbound lanes, and is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Motorists are asked to drive with caution in the work areas and follow all signage.
