Lethbridge Police investigating home invasion and shooting

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is seeking information regarding an alleged home invasion and shooting.

On July 30, 2023, LPS responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence in the 200 block of Stafford Bay North, where police allege three unknown males forced in the front door of the residence and assaulted the occupants.

Police said the suspects carried weapons into the house, and one suspect allegedly fired a gun inside during the incident. LPS said the suspects then fled the area in a newer model grey coloured SUV.

Lethbridge Fire and EMS treated the victims for minor injuries.

The suspects are described as male, in their 20s or 30s, wearing dark clothing and face coverings. LPS believes the incident was targeted, and there is no threat to the public.
