Pure Power Wrestling’s Hot Summer Night – August 25, 2023

Pure Power Wrestling (PPW) is coming to Whoop-Up Days with the Hot Summer Night event at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre on Friday.

Reigning champion “Cougar Meat” Kyle Sebastian defends his title against “Mr. Beefy Goodness” Vance Nevada, who is winding down his 30-year career. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the bell time at 7 p.m.

Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo – August 25-26, 2023

The second night of the Lethbridge & District Pro Rodeo takes place on Friday. The second day features a star studded lineup, which can be found at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition website. The rodeo runs from 7 p.m. until 11 p.m.

Whoop-Up Days – August 25-26, 2023

Whoop-Up Days concludes this weekend at the Lethbridge & District Exhibition. The festival includes live music, rides, food, rodeo, Indigenous programming and more. A full list of events can be found on the Lethbridge and District Exhibition website.

Taber Cornfest – August 25-26, 2023

Taber Cornfest, one of Southern Alberta’s biggest outdoor festivals, is running on Friday and Saturday. Admission is free, and there is entertainment and activities for people of all ages, including live music, rides, fireworks and more. Information on Cornfest can be found here.

Lethbridge Farmers’ Market – August 26, 2023

The Lethbridge Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday until October 14, 2023 at Lethbridge & District Exhibition. Shop local vendors and stock up on produce, baked goods and other fun items. The Saturday market is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with free parking and admission.

Wonderstruck – August 25-26, 2023

New West Theatre’s Wonderstruck is finishing its run at the Yates Theatre in Lethbridge on Saturday. The theatre company describes the show as having a mix of classic and contemporary rock ‘n’ roll hits to go along with sketch comedy. There is one show on Friday at 7:30 p.m., and two shows on Saturday, at 1:00 and 7:30 p.m.

Raincity & Fawns at The Slice Lethbridge – August 27, 2023

The Slice Bar and Grill is hosting two artists for a show on Sunday. Vancouver-based Glam Rock band Raincity and Lethbridge rock band Fawns are performing at the restaurant. More information on the show can be found here.
