Lethbridge College Kodiaks men’s basketball team adds Rhett Lewis

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks have added a healthy dose of versatility to their men’s basketball squad.

On Monday, August 28, 2023, the Kodiaks announced the addition of Rhett Lewis to their roster. The 6’1 Lewis, a native of Cardston and graduate of Cardston High School, plays both guard and forward.

Head coach Ryan Heggie said, “Rhett Lewis brings a Swiss-army-knife-approach to the game. He can play and defend multiple positions, and he has a good basketball IQ.”

Heggie added, “He should thrive in the type of basketball the Kodiaks play.”

Lewis will join his former teammate Mason Hoffman on the Kodiaks, who Lewis played with in a summer league in 2020. Lewis is slated to enrol in the General Arts and Science program at Lethbridge College.

The Kodiaks will kick off their regular season on October 20 with a game against the Ambrose University Lions at the Val Matteotti Gymnasium.
