Location of future Lethbridge LDS Temple revealed

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS) is set to build a new temple in Lethbridge, and the location has been announced.
The temple will be built on more than nine acres, located at the corner of Whoop-Up Drive West and Mauretania Road West. Plans for the construction include a 45,000 square foot multistory temple, along with a distribution centre.
The Lethbridge temple was first announced in April 2023 by Church President Russell M. Nelson. It will be the fourth in Alberta and the 10th overall in Canada.
There are temples already in Calgary, Edmonton and Cardston, as well as in Halifax, Montreal, Regina, Toronto, Vancouver and Winnipeg.
