Lethbridge Hurricanes preseason opener – September 5, 2023

Following the conclusion of the team’s training camp, the Lethbridge Hurricanes kick off their preseason when they take on the Medicine Hat Tigers at the ENMAX Centre on Tuesday. The game is the first of four preseason games before the Hurricanes begin their regular season at home on September 22, 2023.

Lethbridge Public Library Sit ‘n Stitch – September 5, 2023

The Crossings Branch of the Lethbridge Public Library is holding a session for crafty folks. Join other crafters to knit and crochet in the event, free of charge from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. More details are at the Lethbridge Public Library website.

Lethbridge Farmers’ Market at Festival Square – Every Wednesday

The Wednesday Downtown Farmers’ Market, put on by the Lethbridge & District Exhibition and Downtown Business Revitalization Zone (BRZ), is running every Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. until September 6, 2023. Admission is free, but parking rates may apply.

Yoga in the Park – Every Wednesday

The Family Ties Association is offering an ongoing event called Downtown Yoga every Wednesday from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at Galt Gardens. The classes run until September 27 and participation in the event is free. Information can be found here.

Lethbridge Corn Maze – July 28 – October 28, 2023

The Lethbridge Corn Maze is open until October 28. The maze this year is made up of 7.5 acres of corn and 2.5 acres of sunflowers. New this year to the maze is a giant jumping pillow. The maze is open from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m., and this year’s theme is the viaduct of Lethbridge.

Oktoberfest YQL – September 8-9, 2023

Oktoberfest, the event that is fashioned after the Bavarian festival in Munich, returns to Lethbridge for 2023 beginning on Friday. German beer, food and entertainment will be on hand at Festival Square starting at 4:00 p.m. Tickets can be found here.
