Oktoberfest YQL – September 8-9, 2023

Oktoberfest, the event that is fashioned after the Bavarian festival in Munich, returns to Lethbridge for 2023 beginning on Friday. German beer, food and entertainment will be on hand at Festival Square starting at 4:00 p.m. Tickets can be found here.

Reuse Rendezvous – September 9-10, 2023

Reuse Rendezvous is back in Lethbridge for the second time in 2023. The event gives residents of Lethbridge the opportunity to give away unwanted gently used items, by placing them in front of your house with a ‘free’ sign. Those looking to register for the event can do so at the Environment Lethbridge website.

Fresh Fest Jamboree Music Festival – September 9, 2023

The University of Lethbridge’s Fresh Fest Jamboree Music Festival takes place on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Doors open for the festival at 4 p.m., and it will run until 11 p.m. The stage is headlined by singer Ty Dolla $ign, and he will be joined by artists like Armani White and Alyssa Reid. City of Lethbridge Historical Bus Tour – September 9, 2023

The Galt Museum & Archives is hosting a Historical Bus Tour for the City of Lethbridge on Saturday. It starts with a lesson on riding city buses by James Nordquist, a Special Projects Operational Trainer at Lethbridge Transit. After that, City Councillor Belinda Crowson will lead a historical bus tour of Lethbridge. Tickets are at the Galt Museum website.

Ride for Halo – September 9, 2023

The HALO Air Ambulance, SATRA and Writing on Stone Rodeo are hosting a fundraising event on top of Writing-On-Stone Provincial Park. The event will include 50/50 draws and an online Perlich Auction has been held throughout the week leading up to the event.

Rocky Mountain Turf Club Race Day – September 9-10, 2023

The Rocky Mountain Turf Club is back on the weekend with races on Sunday and Monday. Both race days begin at 1:15 p.m., and run until 6 p.m. A full race schedule for the Rocky Mountain Turf Club’s season can be found here.

Lethbridge Farmers’ Market – September 9, 2023

The Lethbridge Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday until October 14, 2023 at Lethbridge & District Exhibition. Shop local vendors and stock up on produce, baked goods and other fun items. The Saturday market is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with free parking and admission.
