Lethbridge Windy City Tattoo Weekend – September 15, 16 & 17, 2023

Tattoo enthusiasts can check out the work of over 120 artists at this event in Lethbridge. It takes place at Lethbridge & District Exhibition, with varying times throughout the weekend. More details are available at the event website.

Coulee Fest – September 16, 2023

Lethbridge College hosts its annual Coulee Fest on Saturday. From 1 to 7 p.m., attendees can enjoy live music, a petting zoo, food trucks, games and more. Additionally, to showcase some of the region’s creatives, Coulee Fest has partnered with Prairie Made Market.

6th Street Block Party – September 16, 2023

On Saturday, head over to 6 Street South for the 6th Street Block Party! The party will feature live music, entertainment, a kids zone, beer gardens and food trucks and more at Festival Square. The fun all starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. More information is available at the block party website.

Never Give Up Gala by Wood’s Homes – September 16, 2023

The event from Wood’s Homes will help raise awareness and reduce the stigma around mental health. Proceeds raised from the gala at the Coast Hotel & Conference Centre will serve children, youth and families who struggle with mental health challenges. Diabetes Canada Fill a Truck Fundraiser – September 16, 2023

Diabetes Canada representatives will be set up at the Real Canadian Superstore on Mayor Magrath in Lethbridge, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday. Officials will have a truck ready to be filled with gently used clothing and small household donations. More details are at the Diabetes Canada website.

42nd annual Southern Alberta Toy Run – September 16, 2023

Southern Alberta Bikers present the 42nd annual Southern Alberta Toy Run on Saturday. The event will start at 8:30 a.m. with a breakfast at Honkers Pub & Eatery in north Lethbridge, which will include a visit from Santa Claus between 8:30 and 9 a.m. The breakfast will be followed by a parade at 10 a.m. and a Poker Run to the Twin Butte Store and Smoke Shack. When the bikes return from the Poker Run, there will be door prizes and a silent auction. Donated toys and proceeds from the event will go to local charities. More details are available online.

University of Lethbridge Pronghorns Triple Header – September 16, 2023

Pronghorn Athletics is set to welcome the community to the University of Lethbridge Community Stadium for a full day of sports action on Saturday. Admission is free and the day kicks off at 12 p.m. with the men’s soccer team against the Thompson Rivers Wolfpack. The women’s soccer team hits the pitch at 2:15 p.m. to host the Fraser Valley Cascades. A community tailgate will take place at 4 p.m. with live music, a barbecue and family fun. This will be followed by a 7 p.m. match-up between the women’s rugby team and the University of Calgary Dinos.

Lethbridge Hurricanes vs. Red Deer Rebels – September 16, 2023

The Lethbridge Hurricanes close out their pre-season on Saturday against the Red Deer Rebels. Game time is 6 p.m. at the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge. The Hurricanes are 1-2 on the pre-season. The team will start the 2023-24 regular season on home ice against Swift Current on Friday, September 22.

Terry Fox Run – September 17, 2023

The annual Terry Fox Run will take place across Canada, including in Lethbridge, on Sunday. In its 43rd year, the run helps to celebrate the legacy of Canadian Terry Fox while raising awareness and funds for cancer research. In Lethbridge, registration for the run will start at 10 a.m. and the run itself will begin at 11 a.m. at the Legacy Park Picnic Shelter in north Lethbridge.
