Over 40 Kodiaks student-athletes named CCAA National Scholars
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks had 42 student athletes recognized as Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) National Scholars.
To be named a CCAA National Scholar, student-athletes must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.3, while also competing for an athletics program at their post-secondary institution.
For the Kodiaks, the women’s volleyball roster led the way with nine recipients, while the men’s volleyball and men’s soccer rosters each had eight.
Kodiaks Athletics Director Todd Caughlin said, “The academic success of our student-athletes means as much to me as the championships.”
