Lethbridge Police Service looking for owner of envelope full of cash

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is looking for the owner of a large sum of cash.

On September 5, 2023, LPS said a woman located an envelope containing the cash under her windshield wiper. Her vehicle was parked in a lot along the 400 block of Scenic Drive South.

Police reported there was no note or other information inside the envelope, and they have not been able to identify the owner.

Proof of ownership is required to claim the money, and the rightful owner will need to confirm the exact amount of cash and identify what financial institution the envelope came from.
