LETHBRIDGE, AB – It’s a busy weekend for events in Lethbridge, and Lethbridge News Now has you covered with all the details.

Lethbridge OnScreen Film Festival – September 30, 2023

The Galt Museum & Archives is holding the inaugural Lethbridge OnScreen Film Festival as part of Alberta Culture Days. All the films screened on September 30 are made by Indigenous filmmakers in recognition of Truth and Reconciliation Day. Entry into the event is free.

Bunka Hashi Festival – September 30, 2023

The Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta is holding the Bunka Hashi Festival on Saturday. The festival features activities like cosplay, dancing, tabletop games and vendors, among others. It runs from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.

Rocky Mountain Turf Club Race Day – September 30-October 1, 2023

The Rocky Mountain Turf Club is back on the weekend with races on Sunday and Monday. Both race days begin at 1:15 p.m., and run until 6 p.m. A full race schedule for the Rocky Mountain Turf Club’s season can be found here.

Lethbridge Farmers’ Market – September 30, 2023

The Lethbridge Farmers’ Market runs every Saturday until October 14, 2023 at Lethbridge & District Exhibition. Shop local vendors and stock up on produce, baked goods and other fun items. The Saturday market is from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., with free parking and admission.

Pure Fall Fest – September 30, 2023

Pure Fall Fest returns to Lethbridge at Pure Casino. The festival is a fundraiser, and features musical performances, a barbecue, a market and a silent auction. More information can be found here.

Kodiaks soccer home games – September 30, 2023

The Lethbridge College Kodiaks soccer teams are playing at home this weekend. The men’s and women’s teams both host the SAIT Trojans at the Servus Soccer Centre Outdoor Field. The women’s game starts at noon, and the men’s game gets underway at 2 p.m.

PetFest in Medicine Hat – September 30, 2023

The Animal Food Bank hosts its first-ever PetFest in Medicine Hat on Saturday. There will be activities like bouncy castles, a pupcake breakfast, a pet market and more. Organizers are inviting everyone from southern Alberta to stop by the free event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the MH Pavilion.
