One person taken into custody following high-risk incident in north Lethbridge

LETHBRIDGE, AB – UPDATE: Lethbridge man charged in connection to high-risk incident, domestic assault

Police have taken an individual into custody following a high-risk incident on the north side of Lethbridge.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 8, 2023, the Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) issued a notice of a high-risk incident at a residence along the 300 block of Lynx Crescent North.

The community was asked to avoid the area at that time.

Just after 4:30 p.m., the LPS advised that one male subject was taken into custody. Police remain on scene, but the public can resume regular use of the area.
