Vanden Dungen, Stewart named Kodiaks Student-Athletes of the Month for September

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge College Kodiaks have named their student-athletes of the month for September.
On the women’s side, fifth-year striker Raeleen Vanden Dungen was named player of the month. She leads the women’s soccer team in points with 21 on the season, tied for second in the entire Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference (ACAC).
This year, Vanden Dungen has been named Kodiaks Student-Athlete of the Week once in September, ACAC Athlete of the Week and CCAA Athlete of the Week. She has led the Kodiaks to being ranked third on the CCAA’s national rankings list with an undefeated record.
Owen Stewart, a cross country student-athlete, has been named the male athlete of the month. Stewart is in his first year competing with the Kodiaks cross country team, and has had two top-10 finishes in his first two ACAC Grand Prix events.
