Lethbridge’s Coby Iwaasa to compete at 2023 Pan American Games

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The 2023 Pan American Games begin next week, and a Lethbridge athlete will be competing.
Coby Iwaasa will represent Canada, competing in racquetball at the games. Iwaasa made his international debut at the 2014 Pan American Championships, and helped Canada capture bronze at the 2015 Pan American Games.
In addition, Iwaasa has had recent success at the 2022 IRF World Championships, where he won bronze in men’s doubles with Samuel Murray and was a member of the men’s team that won silver. Iwaasa and Murray also captured men’s doubles gold at the 2022 Pan American Championships.
The Pan American Games will take place from October 20 to November 5, 2023 in Santiago, Chile. A full list of competing athletes can be found here.
