Lethbridge Police warning of suspicious man at U of L bus loop

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service has identified a suspicious male previously reported approaching females at the University of Lethbridge bus loop.

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) is advising the public of a man described as “suspicious.”

The LPS said it received reports of a man approaching woman around the bus loop at the University of Lethbridge (U of L) over the past two weeks.

“The subject is reported to initiate conversation with a variety of females in the area, inquiring which bus they are taking and ‘making them feel uncomfortable,'” said the police service.

Security at the university are aware of the reports and are working with police to identify the suspect.

He has been described as a man in his late 40s with dark brown/greying hair and a grey goatee.

Anyone who has information on this incident or who observes suspicious activity is asked to call the LPS at 403-328-4444.
