Lethbridge Fire & Emergency Services respond to house fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Fire & Emergency Services responded to a house fire in south Lethbridge on the weekend.

On Friday, October 13, 2023, crews were called to a house fire near 10 Street and 11 Avenue South at around 3:20 p.m.

When they arrived, fire crews saw smoke and flames coming from the front of the house, near the attached garage. They were able to get a water supply and suppress the fire.

No residents or fire crew members were injured, but a pet was found dead.

Fire crews estimate there was over $300,000 in damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
