LETHBRIDGE, AB – A special Christmas-themed light show is coming to Lethbridge.

Glow Lethbridge will be at the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre from November 23 to December 31, 2023.

The event is a unique interactive holiday lights spectacle. It will have an ‘Around the World’ theme, giving visitors the chance to see some of Earth’s monuments all lit up, including the Eiffel Tower and the Taj Mahal. Visitors will be able to get their Glow passport stamped as they travel around the world.

CEO of Lethbridge & District Exhibition Mike Warkentin said, “We are so excited to spread the festive spirit with this one-of-a-kind holiday extravaganza.”

He continued, “Glow has been delighting visitors across the country for years and I know Lethbridge and southern Alberta will love having this incredible display right in our backyard. Bringing these types of events to our city, and bringing the community together is the purpose of the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre, and we know it will add colour and excitement to the holiday season.”

Along with the light display, visitors can take free photos with Santa, enjoy live entertainment, holiday drinks, play on the playground, and much more.

The show will be open from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays, and from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sundays from November 23 until December 31.

The exhibit will be in both the DA Steel Buildings and K.B. Heating and Air Conditioning Halls in the Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.

Warkentin expects this to be one of the largest events of the year, estimating a range of 20,000 to 35,000 visitors over the six-week run of the exhibit. More details are available at the event website.
