Police seeking public assistance to identify subjects in theft

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Lethbridge Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify suspects in a theft.

On October 3, 2023 just after 7:30 p.m. police responded to a report of a theft at the Sunglass Hut in Park Place Mall. Police reported that two unknown males entered the store, each grabbed multiple pairs of designer sunglasses then left without paying.

The suspects were observed on CCTV walking in the mall with a female, before leaving through the south entrance and getting into a newer model, dark coloured Kia Forte sedan.

Police say the same subjects are also believed to be responsible for a similar theft of high-end sunglasses the same day at a store in Calgary.
