LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Hurricanes will be missing one of their top forwards for the foreseeable future.

On October 23, 2023, the Hurricanes announced that Logan Wormald will miss four to six weeks after undergoing an appendectomy.

Wormald missed both games on the Hurricanes weekend slate, which the team split with a win against Red Deer, and a loss to Calgary.

In 11 games with the Hurricanes this season, the 18-year-old has three goals and seven assists for 10 points, putting him fourth on the team in scoring.

The Hurricanes will look to get back in the win column when they host the Seattle Thunderbirds at the ENMAX Centre on Wednesday, October 25.
