Lethbridge Police advise of closure on Mayor Magrath

LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has confirmed that a semi-truck that was jack-knifed on the underpass at Mayor Magrath has been removed.

Police said that all traffic in the area is flowing again.

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Motorists in Lethbridge are being advised of treacherous road conditions.

Overnight and morning snowfall has caused difficult conditions for morning commuters on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

The Lethbridge Police Service (LPS) has reported that a semi-truck has jack-knifed under the underpass at Mayor Magrath Drive.

This has resulted in a block for southbound traffic between 2 Avenue North and 3 Avenue South. Motorists are cautioned to avoid the area.

Police said it will “take some time for the semi-truck to be removed”.
