Mobile mammography clinic to visit Pincher Creek

PINCHER CREEK, AB – Alberta Health Services (AHS) is bringing its mobile mammography service to Pincher Creek later this month.

The AHS Screen Test program will have a mammography trailer stationed at the Ranchland Mall parking lot on November 16-18 and 20-21, 2023.

Officials said that women aged 45-74, the group most at risk of developing breast cancer, can book appointments by calling 1-800-667-0604.

A mammogram is an x-ray of the breast and has proven to be an effective way to detect breast cancer.
