Lethbridge commemorates Remembrance Day

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A pair of ceremonies were held in Lethbridge to honour those who fought for our freedoms.

Remembrance Day events were held at the Lethbridge Cenotaph and the Lethbridge and District Exhibition Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre on November 11, 2023.

The one at the Exhibition was hosted by the General Stewart Branch #4 of the Royal Canadian Legion. It featured a parade of veterans.

The ceremony at the Cenotaph was conducted by the 20th Independent Field Battery and included a fly-by from a Harvard aircraft.

Both events also had speeches, the laying of wreaths, readings including In Flanders Fields, and more.
