PINCHER CREEK, AB – Environment Canada is advising of an upcoming heavy dump of snowfall.

The agency has issued snowfall warnings for the areas of Cardston-Fort Macleod-Magrath and Crowsnest Pass-Pincher Creek-Waterton Lakes National Park.

In those communities, the weather forecaster said precipitation will begin as rain in the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15, 2023, but will quickly change to snow.

By Thursday morning, up to 15 cm of snow is expected to fall.

“Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow,” said Environment Canada.
