Park ‘n’ Bark in north Lethbridge to be closed temporarily for installation work

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Dog owners in Lethbridge are advised of a closure next week.

The Park ‘n’ Bark off-leash dog area will be closed to the public starting Monday, November 20, 2023. Crews will be installing light poles and bases.

Officials said the light fixtures will be installed at a later date, which will complete the project of lighting the park. Additionally, work will be done to the gate latches during this time.

The City of Lethbridge said the work should be finished by Friday, November 24, weather permitting.

Residents are asked to use one of the other off-leash areas in the city while the work is underway, with the nearest being Peenaquim Park.
