RCMP investigating fatal pedestrian collision in Crowsnest Pass

BURMIS, AB – One death has been reported following a collision in southern Alberta.

Just before 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2023, the Crowsnest Pass RCMP said it was called to the intersection of Highway 3 and Range Road 31 near Burmis.

A 37-year-old woman from Blairmore, who was a pedestrian, died on scene. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

The RCMP continues to investigate the circumstances of the collision. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.

There is no word at this time on any potential charges.
