Hurricanes’ Braillard named to Switzerland World Junior selection camp

LETHBRIDGE, AB – A Lethbridge Hurricanes player will be attending a training camp for the World Juniors.

Leo Braillard has been named to Switzerland’s National Junior Team Selection Camp for the 2024 World Junior Championship.

Braillard joined the Hurricanes in October after being claimed off waivers from the Shawinigan Cataractes of the QMJHL. In 16 games with Lethbridge, Braillard has put up six goals and 12 assists for 18 points.

Braillard has experience at the international level, most recently at th 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup in Red Deer. He served as an alternate captain for Switzerland, and put up four points in five games in five tournament games.
